If you are in between the sizing chart, you can most likely go down. I am 5'6" and 137lbs. My measurements are 33-27-39 which put me in a tough spot for picking a size. I went with the small and I was worried it would be tight on my hips but it isn't. The material has some give to it and I'm very happy. The straps are a little tight but that is the only issue
Follow the size guide but I suggest sizing up 1 if you have a larger mid section
